YH Ventures is an online only store serving customers in the United States. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect
- Order information. Your name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address when you place an order.
- Account information. If you create an account, your email address, a password stored in hashed form, and your order history.
- Payment information. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor. We do not see or store full card numbers on this site.
- Usage information. Pages visited, referring site, browser and device type, and IP address, collected through cookies and server logs.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email, phone or a contact form, kept so we can answer you and refer back if you contact us again.
Why we collect it
- To take, process and deliver your orders.
- To contact you about an order, including confirmations and problems.
- To handle returns, refunds and support requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To understand which parts of the site people use, so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed, and only with companies that help us run the store:
- Our payment processor, to take payment and handle refunds and chargebacks.
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
- Our hosting and email providers, which store site data on our behalf.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep your cart contents between pages, to keep you signed in if you have an account, and to measure general site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout will not work properly without them.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and associated personal information, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
- Stop sending you marketing email. Every marketing email also has an unsubscribe link.

Children
This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and payment details are handled by our payment processor rather than stored here. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
